About Waltz
Waltz spent his first decade with a German amateur and his last three years teaching our adult riders that dressage is not pulling. He is a big, old-fashioned black Hanoverian with every Medium movement installed and the patience to let a learner find it badly ten times before rewarding the eleventh. At fifteen he is managed rather than fragile — he works five days a week and marched up the centre line to 68% in December. For an ambitious amateur without a schoolmaster budget, he is the best classroom in the Emirates. Sensible vetting welcomed.
