Desert Meridian is a UK-bred colt we bought at the breeze-ups for exactly this market: sharp, dirt-actioned and forward enough to be ready when the UAE season opens. He worked through the spring at Nad Al Sheba and ran second by a head in a nine-horse barrier trial at Jebel Ali in June, doing his best work late.
