The vet works for you. That’s the whole point.
A seller refusing an independent exam is the oldest red flag in horse trading. Faras PPE packages use approved clinics near the horse; you commission the exam, and the structured report comes to you.

Integrity rules
- The fee is non-contingent. You pay the clinic whether the horse passes or fails — an exam that only gets paid on a pass isn’t independent.
- Paid through Faras, never to the seller’s account. Kills cherry-picked reports and “my cousin the vet” letterheads.
- No conflicts. Clinics and assessors never examine horses they, their yard, or their associates are selling.
- Point-in-time, stated plainly. A PPE describes the horse on exam day. It is not a guarantee of future soundness — no honest exam is.
